A private digital home for your parish, club, family, or business.
Village is a sovereign digital platform for communities and organisations. Every Village is a self-contained space where members communicate, share stories, coordinate activities, and make decisions — on infrastructure you control, governed by constitutional principles your community sets.
Unlike social media platforms that extract data for advertising and train AI on your content, Village operates on a subscription model with no advertising, no data selling, no algorithmic feeds, and no engagement manipulation. Your community's data remains within your community's boundary.
And Village adapts to you. An Episcopal parish sees "parishioners" and "parish bulletins", not "members" and "posts". A family sees "family members" and "family stories". A sports club sees "club members" and "match reports". The vocabulary, features, and AI behaviour are shaped by your community type — not the other way around.
Village serves eight distinct community types, each with tailored vocabulary, features, and AI that understands your context. Every type is available in the beta programme.
Parish bulletins, vestry meeting governance, liturgical calendar, and tradition-framed AI that understands your theological context. Your parish, your data, your rules.
Stories, encrypted messaging, event coordination, and democratic polls. Bring your neighbourhood together in a space no platform can take from you.
Family tree, oral history recording, intergenerational storytelling, and migration pathways. Pass down what matters across generations.
Whānau kōrero, whakapapa connections, hui coordination, and oral history preservation. Te reo Māori throughout — not a translation layer, but a first-class language. Your tikanga, your data, your tūrangawaewae.
Event scheduling, member directories, club resources, and RSVP tracking. Run your club without handing your members' data to a social media company.
Class directories, reunion planning, heritage preservation, and shared archives. Keep your community's history alive and accessible to those who shaped it.
CRM, invoicing, project management, and team collaboration. Run your business on sovereign infrastructure with AI that works for you, not against you.
Geographic mapping, species monitoring, action tracking, and field reporting. Coordinate conservation efforts with tools built for the field, not the office.
Multi-language support, cultural calendars, heritage storytelling, and community connections across borders. Keep your culture alive wherever your people are.
Every AI interaction in Village is protected by Guardian Agents: four interlocking layers that verify AI responses against your community's actual records using mathematical similarity (not more AI), monitor for patterns, protect against manipulation, and learn from your moderators' decisions. Members see confidence badges on every response and can trace any AI claim back to its source. Read the full announcement.
Village takes a fundamentally different approach to community moderation. Our AI acts as a kaitiaki (guardian) — it does not delete your words, shadow-ban your posts, or punish you with opaque algorithms.
Instead, when the AI detects content that may conflict with your community's agreed values, it offers a gentle moment of reflection before you post — a suggestion, not a command. You always decide whether to post, edit, or reconsider. The AI has no veto power.
This approach is grounded in tikanga: mana (preserving dignity), manaakitanga (care for others), and kaitiakitanga (guardianship). Vigorous disagreement is welcome — the AI cares about how things are said, not what is said.
Your community's values are co-created by its founding members, not imposed by the platform. The AI upholds what you collectively agree your space should feel like.
Founding partners pay 50% of general availability pricing, locked for the life of their subscription. Every Village includes a base of 25 members, storage, video calling, Village AI, and Guardian Agents.

Initial capacity limit: During the first three months, beta communities may grow to a maximum of 50 members (base 25 plus one add-on block). This ensures platform stability during the scaling period.
New Zealand-based communities can pay in NZD at reduced domestic rates, reflecting our commitment to the communities where Village was built.
NZ pricing requires a New Zealand-issued payment method and a self-declaration that your community is based in New Zealand.
Community organisations in economically disadvantaged regions may be eligible for reduced or waived pricing. If standard pricing is a barrier for your community, mention this in your application — tell us about your situation. We assess on a case-by-case basis, guided by World Bank country income classifications and the purpose of your organisation. No means testing, no financial documents required.
Applications open. Select your community type and tell us about your people.
Applications reviewed on a rolling basis. The programme closes when the founding cohort is full.
Accepted communities notified and onboarded. Free access during the onboarding period.
Founding rate billing begins one month after your community is onboarded. Your rate is locked from that date forward.
Standard pricing applies to new subscriptions. Founding partners retain their rates permanently.
Founding slots are limited and are awarded at the founder's sole discretion.
Applicants whose applications are not accepted will be notified. No reason is required or provided. Applicants may reapply after three months.
No application data is retained for unsuccessful applications.
The platform is live and functional — communities are using it in production. Beta means we are continuing to refine features and expand capabilities based on community feedback. You may encounter rough edges; issues are addressed promptly.
You have full exit rights. Your data can be exported at any time. When you leave, your data is deleted from our infrastructure — not archived, not retained, deleted. This is a constitutional guarantee, not a policy subject to change.
For members: If you can use email and a web browser, you can use Village.
For the moderator: The Village owner is automatically the first moderator. At Phase 0 (stories, chat, member directory), moderation is straightforward. As you enable more features, the platform provides a structured accreditation path for additional moderators. No technical background needed, but this is a hands-on role.
Progressive enablement: Villages launch at Phase 0 — core communication only. Six feature phases (0-5) allow you to enable capabilities progressively as your community and its moderators are ready.
When you select your community type, Village configures its entire interface to match your context. An Episcopal parish sees "parishioners", "parish bulletins", and "vestry governance". A sports club sees "club members" and "season calendar". A family sees "family members" and "family stories". This shapes how the AI understands and responds to your community — it is not cosmetic theming.
Yes. If you start with Village Community and later require Village Business capabilities, you can upgrade. The 50% founding discount applies to the new type and remains locked for life.
Your founding rate will not increase as long as your subscription remains active. If you cancel and later resubscribe, the prevailing rate at that time will apply.
The euro is our contractual currency, providing consistency for communities across New Zealand, Australia, Europe, and North America. Payment processing supports local currency display where available.
Founding slots at 50% of general availability pricing, locked for life. Whether you lead a parish, run a club, or want to bring your family together — there is a Village for you.
